FRANKLIN SOUTHAMPTON REPUBLICAN PARTY

OFFICIAL CALL FOR A MASS MEETING MAY 4th, 2010

As Chairman of the Franklin Southampton Republican Party, and pursuant to the plan of organization and as recommended and directed by the committee, I, William K. Truitt, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Fred's Restaurant, 107 South Main St on May 4th, 2010 at 7:00 pm for the following purposes:

1.               To elect or reelect a Unit Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary,

 and renew current membership. 

2.               Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the              

              Mass Meeting.  All legal and qualified voters under laws of the 

              Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin

              or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party

              and, who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in

              writing, as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees

              for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members

  of the Republican Party of Virginia in its Mass Meeting, party

  conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.

Filing Requirements:

Candidates for election for Unit Officers,  or as a delegate or alternate delegate to the 4^th District Convention at said Mass Meeting shall file a written statement in person (or by proxy if only seeking membership or to be a delegate), which must be received no later than 7:30 pm on May 4th, 2010 and accompanied by any fees as noted in Prefiling Registration forms which will be provided at mass Meeting or by email if requested.  Email Chairman Kenny Truitt to request forms at: truittbuilder@gmail.com
